At MyLife Housing, we understand design it not a ‘one size fits all’ solution. This is why we work closely with architects to design functional and barrier-free homes which can still feel contemporary and look beautiful. Our apartments not only meet minimum design, we’ve also implemented best practice recommendations.
In the event of an emergency or unplanned support need, tenants can contact support workers in an additional on-site apartment, using a two-way communications system.
Our High Physical Support apartments are all provisioned for state-of-the-art assistive technology. Our smart home technology will enable tenants to operate doors, blinds, lighting, air-conditioning, intercom and emergency calling, from their chosen device.
Our apartments feature customisable kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, and wheelchair accessible private outdoor and communal areas. The High Physical Support apartments also have structural provision for ceiling hoists and are assistive technology ready.
All our apartments are always located in close proximity to major transport and shops, making it even easier for tenants to live independently.
Tenants will have the ability to entertain family and friends in the fully accessible outdoor communal spaces throughout the building.
In some of our apartments, tenants have the flexibility to choose their own finishes, such as flooring and wall colours, to make it feel like their own home.
We consider pets as part of the family, and we are sure our tenants think the same way! All our apartments are pet-friendly.
In some of our apartments, tenants will be able to book an on-site accessible car 24/7, to be used by them or their carer for day trips or getting to and from appointments.
